Malacca Food Trip

Just a week ago, Lava, Aizad, Jason Peng and me decided to head down to Malacce for a makan trip (again). Haha! Good food are never boring and no matter how far, we'll hunt for it. Besides eating, we did stop at various attraction sites: A Famosa, Menara Taming Sari, Dataran Pahlawan, Stadhuys, etc. How can you miss all these in Malacca??? :D

LUNCH

~around Jonker walk and the Stadhuys

Chicken Rice Balls at Jonker Walk. Nothing special. Just rice in ball shape. The rice was more glutanious and sticky. Not bad...But I still think a normal plate of rice is more worth it. 30 cents for a ball. Chicken and other dishes ordered separately of course.

Famous Chendol from an Indian stall at Stadhuys. Simple and refreshing. Only RM 1.20 each for the normal chendol. And RM 1.50 for those with special stuff in it like Jagung, Kacang, Pulut, etc.

Durian Chendol from Jonker Walk. Aizad and I find it a bit too sweet. And don't expect real durian in it. it's mere durian flavouring that they used. And LOTS of gula Melaka.

DINNER

~went to Crystal Bay for a delightful and stomach bloating Ikan Bakar dinner! We (7 ppl) ate ALL these for only RM 160. That is like RM24 per person! We were so full that some even feel sick. LOL! Anyway, this is From Stall 3 at Crystal Bay.

Ikan Pari Bakar - Siakap was better. This was not very good. Should skip this next time.

Fried Sotong - everyone's favourite! Was crispy and was a llllllooooooottttt!

Ikan Siakap Bakar - FRESH! And reaaalllllyyyy gooood!

Buttered Prawn (Malay style) - more like prawns soaked in butter.
